Naming, positioning and branding
Retroscreen Virology had changed much as a company since its conception. thinkerdoer was asked to look at their brand and reposition it as they take on . Our recommendation was to change the name to hVIVO to relay the company's broader vision and pioneering efforts using human studies to revolutionise drug development, and taking on viruses from the common cold to COVID-19 (coronavirus). Alongside this we created a whole new brand that encapsulates their mission perfectly; capturing disease in motion so that better treatments can be found faster.
thinkerdoer produced an extensive visual toolkit containing messaging, tone of voice, and a unique image library and style. These powerful brand guidelines provide an inspirational starting point for the hVIVO marketing team to grow the business further in the UK and US. They will also be used with our guidance, by suppliers to produce cost sensitive items such as the website, annual reports and communications materials on-brand consistently.
